Carrot line - fresh market

In a line for the fresh market, the product goes through the following stages so that the consumer can buy polished carrots of a certain calibre:

  • Reception
  • Cleaning
  • Washing
  • Inspection
  • Polishing
  • Hydrocooling
  • Calibration (on thickness and/or length)

This process can also be applied to other root vegetables such as horseradish, parsnips and beetroot.
