Horseradish processing

  • White taproot
  • Contains a lot of vitamin C
  • Has a spicy mustard-like flavour
  • Variant of Eutrema japonicum => main ingredient of wasabi

The horseradish is processed into the paste you find in the supermarket, especially in Germany and the US. Horseradish adds flavour to sauces, spreads, steak or salmon.

Horseradish line

In a CB horseradish line, the product is prepared in a number of stages for further processing into horseradish paste:

  • Unpacking and inspection in a (double) manual station
  • Double delivery ensures a homogeneous end product
  • Washing
  • Peeling
  • Soaking
  • Re-rinsing

 

In this line we provide solutions for optimal recovery of product and process water.

The machines in this standard line can be supplemented and/or replaced according to the desired capacity and budget.
