This industrial mixing setup is designed to automatically mix three ingredients.

Each ingredient is supplied via a dedicated box tipper and temporarily stored in individual bunkers. 

The bunkers are then unloaded under control via load cells into the underlying bidirectional extraction screw.

A mobile screw conveyor transports the mixture and fills it into boxes via a double discharge hopper.

 The bidirectional extraction screws can be connected to a mobile conveyor screw, allowing the bunkers to be emptied separately.

Thanks to our colleagues at Bruynooghe Automation, we were able to deliver this installation as a fully automated turnkey project.

complete with control software, a main control cabinet with HMI screen, position and weight sensors, local control stations, and emergency stop buttons.

You may have noticed that this video is a compilation, as we had the pleasure of realising this setup for three different sites of the same client.
