Automated washing setup bean fresh market

We realized this washing installation with a capacity of 5 Tph for a fresh market bean processor.

Custom-made trough belts and an elevator beltprovide the connection between the new washing installation and the existing processing line in the production hall.

By equipping the conveyor belts with side plates and hoppers where needed, they were even better fit to the upstream or downstream process machine.

The declustered green beans are destoned in a robust Cyclone destoner with a purge tube for stone discharge.

To ensure good flow, a motorised scraper was provided at the outlet of the destoner.

The product flows immediately from the Cyclone destoner into the Drum washer.

The removed stones are collected in a bin under the machine.

Profiles in the perforated washing drum gently turn the beans for a more thorough washing process.

Process water consumption is reduced by performing the initial cleaning with recovered water from the closed circuit.

The closed-loop water recovery system consists of a mechanical internal filter drum on a water tank with powerful pumps.

A customized platform provides ergonomic access to the washing installation equipped with inspection doors for cleaning and maintenance.
